We had a very relaxing and low key Easter weekend. We napped, enjoyed some extra time with Ben, and made a lovely lamb supper up at my mom’s on Easter Sunday. Lucy was very pleased with the Easter egg trail she found leading from her room to her goodies and truth be told spent more time playing with the eggs than anything else we gave her. She had a great time making bubbles with Nana and Kylie outside. We spent lots of time in the beautiful sunshine at my moms and enjoyed a beautiful Easter morning mass which Abigail thankfully slept through! I know it’s been pretty quiet around this blog lately but I am still adjusting to juggling both girls and finding time to do other things. We are slowly getting there and I am grateful for all of God’s extra lovin’ on me through this time..He is so gentle with me.
Today I am so thankful for all of the gorgeous weather we are having and for the trees outside our apartment that are starting to bloom. I was surprised when I first saw them, and realized that we have never lived in this apartment during Spring. Always new blessings to be thankful for. I heard a quote the other day, “Joy is the fruit of thankfulness” I am focusing on being more thankful for everything/everyone in my life so as to become more mindfully joyful in my vocation.
We are looking forward to having Abigail Baptized very soon, hopefully on Sunday which is the feast of Divine Mercy. God is good! Also, my sister had her baby!! She had a beautiful little boy named Jude Alan. I won’t post pictures for her privacy but he is just gorgeous and I cannot wait to hold him and kiss his sweet little face.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter with those you love and hope that you are able to fully embrace all of the love God has given us in His son! Many blessings to you!
